Greetings from SES GURUKUL Learning Community!
SES GURUKUL – ‘the school in a train’ – we often come across children and parents peeping through the gate and wishing they could hop on to the train for a fruitful and educational journey!
At SES GURUKUL, we believe that learning is a lifelong journey. However, we need to halt at various junctions to refuel and update ourselves to suit the varying needs in a fast-changing world. The campus is thus designed to resemble a railway station, with platforms and real railway coaches, which house a few classrooms for Primary school children. The sports room, infirmary, pantry with a dining room, and guard room which are also in the coaches, complete the railway station ambience.
SES GURUKUL has been founded on the principles of ‘Swadhyay Shakti’ – which means ‘Discovering Inner Strength’ through joyful learning. It was set up in 1992 with two students. At present, we are working with 700+ students and have built a reputation as one of the best C.B.S.E. schools in Pune.
At its heart, SES GURUKUL is a brand which stands for quality education. We are committed to send literate, knowledgeable, educated, happy, confident, and polite children into the world – children who will use their potential to contribute to our society.
Having completed a journey of 25 years, we wish to embark on a new venture,’Guru-Shishya Yojana’, to mark our Silver Jubilee year.
This ‘Guru-Shishya Yojana’ project intends to impart quality education to children of parents who cannot afford to pay the school fees. To make this project viable and successful, we need more funds.
The approximate cost (could vary due to inflation) to educate and provide all facilities to a child in SES GURUKUL is given below.
We propose to sponsor 15 children each year. The sponsorship is expected to continue till the child successfully completes Class X.
Your kind gesture will give these children an opportunity to board the SES GURUKUL Express and prepare themselves for the long and arduous journey of life.

Note: SES GURUKUL (registered as Saraswati Educational Society under the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950) has a certificate for tax exemption under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961. All donations are 50% exempt from tax under Section 80 G. The tax exemption 80G is applicable only for donations made within India. We will send an 80G receipt to the address mentioned by you in donation form or the email address provided by you.
